Joy Carpenter founded Carpenter Law, PA in 2002 and proudly announces 15 years of successful practice.  The law firm started in a 500 square foot second floor "cubby hole" and within the first year we were able to purchase our current home at 222 South Vernon Avenue in Kissimmee, 3 doors behind the courthouse.  Our building is from the late 1800's and we are honored to practice in this piece of Kissimmee history.

Dozens of successful trials and hundreds of mediations and settlement conferences have prepared Joy Carpenter and Carpenter Law to help you with your case.
Professional Experience

Joy Carpenter has represented families, children, and charities for more than 21 years.  Her many years in the classroom, including time teaching the children of migrant farm workers, trained her to make the confusing and complex process of the court easier to understand, so it makes sense to people who are not legally trained.  She's trained to listen and to teach you what you need to know step by step, success by success.

Joy worked for nearly 10 years in Agricultural research, experiencing every aspect of research from being a laborer clearing fields and harvesting peanuts to a top level Agricultural Technician managing 10 acres of crops and directing a crew of farmhands.  She knows what it means to work hard.  Joy has lived in the Kissimmee area since 1998 and has deep ties to our community.

Joy has taught many Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida divorce clinics and seminars since 2003 earning her Osceola County Attorney of the Year in 2014, Osceola County Attorney Advocate in 2012 and recognition from the organization for many years.  Joy has volunteered her efforts to CLSMF since 1999 initially handling family law conflict cases and contributing where it was needed.

Joy joins the community effort through her ongoing contributions and work.  11 years of Christmas bags for Elmer's Kitchen, Hope Totes for Orlando, ham drives and contribution for Second Harvest, volunteer efforts and projects for the Osceola Children's Home, gifts and backpacks for Osceola's foster children, Christmas bags for the homeless in Osceola's hotels, and numerous other community projects.
